| Vedic Calendar | |
The Vedic Calendar which has been in use for centuries, identifies auspicious days (and times) for various important activities and acquirements. (ex.: good days for travel, house warming ceremony, an auspicious day to move into a new house/apartment, holding of various functions and ceremonies, important purchases )
The calendar also shows the ruling star of each day. This, to enable ONLY those who know their Indian birth star, to find out whether a given day is in harmony with their personal birth star. Even when a certain day is good or not so good in general.
To find out your Indian birth star, please consult your private astrologer.Any activity undertaken on the right day, will contribute to a harmonious and smoother course to your goal. This is a tool. A means to an end, and not an end by itself. It is to be used like a pair of spectacles, an umbrella, or a walking stick can be used. To make our lives more comfortable in a spiritual direction.
Announcement: The research and translation for the calendar for 2009 is currently in progress. The availability can be checked on this page.
